Maya, Almaaza, and Ilianna are members of Behind the Veil. Our mission is to educate the public and promote this dance form and the culture connected to it.

We are all seasoned professional who have had extensive training in this dance form and other dance forms as well. We are also teachers in the Newark, New Castle and Prices Corner area.

Behind the Veil is available for special events, fund raisers, Arabic weddings, educational programs, and parties. A few of the events we have performed at include: Faithful Friends fundraiser, Fall Spa Bash, a benefit for Breast Cancer, Girls Inc, University of Delaware, Wellness Center, Cancer Society, and the Mary Campbell Center. Behind the Veil has also presented a series of workshops geared for women who want to find out about this ancient dance form.
